Biographie

Emmanuel Siffert ist momentan GMD am Symphonischem Orchester in San Juan (Argentinien) ,und dirigiert regelmässig Ballette im Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. Er war GMD vom Nationalen Symphonieorchester von Ecuador (2007-2010), der European Chamber Opera in London ( 1998-2008) ,des Schweizer Kammerorchesters und des Orchestra Sinfonica Aosta in Italien (2000-2008). Er war auch "Principal Guest Conductor" beim Welsh Concert Orchestra in Cardiff.

Violinstudien in der Schweiz und Salzburg mit Prof. Sandor Végh und Dirigieren mit Horst Stein, Ralf Weikert, Joma Panula und Carlo Maria Giulini. Emmanuel Siffert gewann den Dirigentenpreis des Schweizerischen Tonkünstlervereins im Jahre 1993 und 1995.

Er war Mitglied der Camerata Academia Salzburg von 1989 bis 1994. Von 1994 bis 1997 war er Assistant von John Neschling am Stattheater  St.-Gallen, 1995 war er Assistant  am Opern Festival Avenches, 1998 am “Grand Théâtre de Genève” von Armin Jordan, 2001 am „Teatro Lirico di Cagliari“ von  Rafael Frübeck de Burgos, und in 2001/2002 von Gerard Korsten. Er war er auch Assistant am Opernhaus Lyon für die Lustige Witwe.

Er arbeitete auch für das „English National Ballet“ und für das "Royal Ballet Covent Garden".  Verschiedene  Operngastdirigate in Italien, der Oper  Nürnberg , der Oper Chichinau, Oper Lima , Oper Volgograd, Opernstudio des Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires.

Als Gastdirigent arbeitet Emmanuel Siffert mit dem Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philarmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Welsh National Opera Orchestra, Rundfunksinfonieorchester Saarbrücken, Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of South-Africa, Slowenische Philharmonie, Volgograd Philharmonic Orchestra, Wiener Mozartorchester, Berner Symphonieorchester ,Basler Kammerorchester, Sudecka Philharmonie, Dohnanyi Erno Symphony Orchestra Budapest, Orchestra of European Chamber Opera, Nürnberger Philharmoniker, European Union Chamber Orchestra, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, und dem Cairo Symphony Orchestra

Emmanuel Siffert realisierte verschiedene CD’s mit dem National Symphony Orchestra of Southafrica (2000), dem Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana (2005), Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra (2005), Volgograd Philharmonic Orchestra (2005,2006,2007), Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2006, 2009, 2017), Schweizer Kammerorchester (2001,2003,2009), "Sinfonica" d’Aosta (2002/2003,2004,2006), Orchester "La Consorterie" (1997), Orchestre de Chambre de Fribourg (1994),sowie dem Jungen Schweizer Kammerorchester (1997).

Verschieden Radioaufnahmen mit dem Rundfunksinfonieorchester Saarbrücken , Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana  und dem Schweizer Kammerorchester.

Emmanuel Siffert arbeitet auch für spezielle Projekte wie die Edition von raren Orchesterwerken mit der Universität Lausanne und für das Projekt “Swiss Symphonic and Operacomposers” , in Kollaboration mit dem Label VDE-GALLO.

Emmanuel Siffert unterrichtet auch Dirigieren und “Opernszenen für Sänger” in verschiedenen Sommerworkshops, und an der Wales International Academy of Voice.
