Attualmente, Emmanel Siffert é direttore principale de la Orchestra de Camara Nazionale de Chile (Formazione Beethoven 7). E stato direttore principale de la Orchestre Sinfonica de San Juan (Argentina), de la Orchestra Sinfonica de Aguascalientes (Mexico) ,Orchestra Sinfonica della Valle d’Aosta, Orchestra de Camera Svizzera, European Chamber Opera a Londra , ha collaborato regolarmente con il Teatro Colon a Buenos Aires, dirigendo Balletti. Ha tenuto la cattedra di direzione d’orchestra presso l’Università Nazionale di San Juan, ha insegnato repertorio operistico per cantanti presso l’Istituto Superiore di Atre del Teatro Colon di Buenos Aires.

Nato a Friburgo nel 1967, compie gli studi come violinista a Friburgo, Basilea  e a Salisburgo, dove si perfeziona con Sandor Végh. Nel 1984 vince il primo premio al Concorso Internazionale di musica di Stresa. Nel 1986 diventa primo violino dell’Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile Europea. Dal 1990 al 1993 è membro della “Camerata Accademica des Mozarteums” di Salisburgo. Compie gli studi di direzione d’orchestra in Svizzera con Ewald Körner, Horst Stein e Ralf Weikert, a Helsinkij con Jorma Panula e a Milano con Carlo Maria Giulini. Nel 1993 e nel 1995 ottiene il primo premio di direzione d’orchestra dalla “Association des Musiciens Suisses”. È stato assistente di John Neschling al Teatro dell’Opera di San Gallo, di Armin Jordan al Grand Théatre di Ginevra e di Rafael Frubek de Burgos al Teatro Lirico di Cagliari. È stato anche assistente per "La vedova allegra" a l’Opera de Lyon.

Emmanuel Siffert  è stato il direttore principale della Ecuador National Symphony Orchestra a Quito, in Ecuador ,de la European Chamber Opera, Londra e dell'Orchestra Sinfonica della Valle d’ Aosta, Italia.  E stato  Direttore Musicale de la Scuola de Opera "Wales International Academy of Voice" (Saturday Academy) e  lavora come direttore per orchestra, opera e balletto, e dà corsi di direzione d’orchestra e corsi per cantanti d'opera.

Ha diretto per due stagioni il National Ballet Inglese, e al  l'Opera di Norimberga, il Teatro dell'Opera della Moldavia a Chisinau.

Emmanuel Siffert ha fatto CD con la National Symphony Orchestra of South Africa (2000), l'Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana (2005), Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra (2005), Orchestra Filarmonica di Volgograd (2005, 2006, 2007), la Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2006, 2009, 2017), Orchestra de Camera della Svizzera (2001/2003/2009), "Sinfonica" d'Aosta (2002/2003, 2004, 2006), Orchestra "La Consorterie" (1997), Orchestre de Chambre de Fribourg (1994).

Un numero di progetti speciali Emmanuel Siffert è coinvolto in includono rare sinfonie italiano del 18 ° secolo (preparazione delle parte orchestrale), e la registrazione delle opere orchestrali e operistici di compositori svizzeri in collaborazione con VDE-Gallo.
